Dr Chua Hwa Sen is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery with a sub-speciality in Arthroplasty. His areas of expertise include adult hip and knee joint reconstruction and revision surgery, pelvic and acetabulum trauma management, as well as shoulder and knee arthroscopic surgery. He is also an expert in Robotic assisted arthroplasty, computer assisted orthopaedic surgery (CAOS) and minimal invasive osteosynthesis (MIO).
He is fully registered under the Malaysian Medical Council since August 2003 (Reg. No. 39864) and the Ministry of Health Malaysia and Academy of Medicine of Malaysia’s National Specialist Register. He is currently a Consultant Orthopaedic, Joint and Arthroplasty Surgeon in Sunway Medical Center. He has a passion for teaching and has been involved directly in training Orthopaedic trainees of various levels.
